What’s in it for you?

    We offer a monthly base salary (negotiable) plus an uncapped performance-based monthly commission and a quarterly bonus.
  • Hybrid work opportunity: You start your onboarding with 5 days/week in the office, and once your performance is solid, you have 3 fixed office days.
    25 regular vacation days plus up to 12 bonus vacation days per year.

What skills do you have?

  • Have a curious mind and are excited to speak with executives of the largest organizations in the DACH region.
  • Love networking, and the thought of reaching out and communicating with top-level decision-makers doesn't intimidate you.
  • Are eager to excel at this role!
  • Aren't afraid of cold calling and enjoy the challenge of overcoming obstacles.
  • Have a genuine "let's get it done" attitude and have found that you're pretty good at persuading others.
  • Have a business mindset and are increasingly interested in the B2B world.
  • Ideally, have a Bachelor's degree.
  • Ideally, have some experience in a commercial and/or customer-oriented role (e.g., hospitality, sales, customer service, etc.) – but don't hesitate to apply if you don't have experience. We are more interested in your attitude!
  • Speak fluent German and have professional-level English skills.

  • To continue our growth story and bring the right people together, we are looking for a Key Client Manager (m/f/d). In this sales-based position, your task will be to expand your personal network with C-level executives and drive their growth.

Your main tasks

Your responsibility and goal is to attract new members to our business network. This means that you will:

  • Reach out to C-level executives via phone and LinkedIn to get them excited about our concept.
  • Showcase the value of our service and convince them to become part of our exclusive business network through personally arranged video conferences.
  • Learn more about their interests, investment plans, and upcoming projects.
  • Maintain strong, personal, and trusting relationships with your key clients.
  • Encourage them to participate in our events and networking activities like sailing trips, exclusive dinners, or sports activities, which you will also attend.
  • Your focus will be on building and maintaining relationships, demonstrating the value of our network, and ensuring that our clients feel supported and engaged.

Just started at Management Events.

I started my career at Management Events as an international sales and management trainee. Starting as a junior Key Client Manager I soon learn that I would like to be part of the Customer Delivery team permanently. What I liked about the role is that my knowledge was extended to areas which I had never learned about before such as healthcare, human resources, IT, artificial intelligence and cyber security. Besides my responsibilities as a Key Client Manager I got the role of Motivational Officer for Customer Delivery Europe. Here I had the freedom to spar on our culture, get it in action via competitions and activities. I further developed my training skills as a quality coach for new employees. Currently I am in the role of team manager and leading the cyber security network in the Netherlands. Management Events enabled me to learn and develop myself in the past 2,5 years.
