As a Business Developer, you are jointly responsible for expanding Ebury's client base. Ebury is a financial services provider that offers currency services (foreign exchange) and trade finance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and larger SMEs (SME+) engaged in international trade. You will search for potential clients through platforms like LinkedIn, your own network, or lists from relevant trade fairs. You will approach them and schedule a (telephone) appointment. During the conversation with a potential client, you will ensure that you actively listen to their challenges. This enables you to provide the best possible advice with the aim of converting the company into an Ebury client. Additionally, you will frequently travel for meetings or to trade fairs to establish new contacts. Initiative and creative approaches to finding new relationships or exploring new markets are highly valued. When you meet your personal target, you will be promoted to Senior Sales 1. On average, you achieve this target within 6-12 months.
