"De tijd dat PMS (Property Management System) als softwarepakket op de computer geïnstalleerd moet worden, is voorbij. Het moderne systeem van nu wordt aangeboden via het internet en de cloud. Bovendien is het essentieel dat de hotelier als gebruiker niet met verschillende applicaties hoeft te werken, maar dankzij een all-in-one oplossing optimaal kan functioneren.
Noovy is een alles-in-één cloud-base systeem waar een groep ontwikkelaars een aantal jaren intensief mee bezig is geweest. Jonatan Tsuff, mede-eigenaar van Noovy, kwam op het idee toen hij zelf in de hotelsector actief was.
Ontwikkeling één systeem
“De hotelgroep waarvoor ik werkte zocht een nieuw, modern systeem. Dat was net in de periode voordat het werken in een cloud zich begon te ontwikkelen. Zij zochten één systeem waarin alle front- en backoffice werkzaamheden optimaal te verwerken waren. Helaas bestond die gewenste oplossing toen nog niet. Ik ben daarom met zowel een team van ontwikkelaars als met diverse hoteliers uit diverse landen in gesprek gegaan om te kijken welke wensen er waren en wat digitaal mogelijk was. Een dergelijk systeem ontwikkel je niet binnen een paar weken. Het was echt een kwestie van pionieren en dat heeft zoals gezegd jaren geduurd. Uiteindelijk is daar onze eigen oplossing Noovy uit voortgekomen.”
